Bijou B&B accommodation is set in the picture postcard village of West Lulworth and is the perfect base to stay with variety of walking & cycle routes, less than a mile from the B&B to the South West Coastal Path along the Jurassic coast, Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door.
This region known as The Purbecks, has its own micro climate and has some of the highest sun hours and average temperatures in the country. Its coastline is recognised as nationally important for its wildlife and marine species. It is a World Heritage site. The geology is equally important and impressive, with visitors coming from around the world to study its rocks and fossils. Kimmeridge Bay is an excellent place to visit, just a short drive away, and home to The Etches fossil museum where you can view the recently found skull of a Pliosaur, sea monster!
Bijou B&B Lulworth is approx. 4 miles from Wool train station which is on the main line to London Waterloo and Weymouth, and is 45 mins drive from Bournemouth airport.

The area
An ideal location for those guests who want to be close to the beautiful Jurassic coastline and the many tourist attractions on offer in and around Purbeck, Dorset, Just 15 min drive away from the Saxon walled town of Wareham, 20 mins to Corfe castle.
There’s great walks in the area so remember to pack your walking boots! There is an abundance of wildlife to look out for including sika deer and Lulworth skipper butterfly to name but a few. With foot paths just a few meters from the B&B, just pack a picnic, a map and off you go! Note: it does get busy here during the Summer holidays, so if you wish to visit when its less busy then consider booking outside of this time. Lulworth range opening times
